ISSSD is the representative body of performance designers in Ireland, run by a voluntary committee of professional designers. It promotes and supports Ireland’s scenographers by acting as a resource and networking hub nationally and internationally.
Formed in 2017, ISSSD has gradually developed a consistent range of activities: symposiums, conferences, national exhibitions, podcasts and online masterclasses.
ISSSD represented Ireland in the Prague Quadrennial 2019 (PQ), the world’s most prestigious design exhibition, and have successfully secured the position to represent the nation again in 2023.
